Protocol B: Initial Shoulder Labral / Rotator Cuff Repair
2 weeks after surgery:
- Scapular Retraction 
- Supine Wand AAROM: External Rotation 
4 weeks after surgery:
- Supine Forward Elevation 
- Supine Wand AAROM: External Rotation 
- Self-Stretch: Shoulder External Rotation in Doorway (at neutral) 
- Scapular Retraction 
8 weeks after surgery:
- Start Physical Therapy 
Protocol C: Total Shoulder Arthroplasty
Anatomical (TSA): Start 1 day after surgery:
- Supine AAROM: Flexion with Opposite Arm 
- Supine Wand AAROM: Flexion 
- Supine Wand AAROM: External Rotation 
- Elbow Flexion AROM 
- Wrist AROM 4-Way (Gravity minimized) 
- Scapular Retraction 
Reverse (rTSA): Start 2 weeks after surgery:
- Supine AAROM: Flexion with Opposite Arm 
- Supine Wand AAROM: Flexion 
- Supine Wand AAROM: External Rotation (to 40deg) 
- Elbow Flexion AROM 
- Wrist AROM 4-Way (Gravity minimized) 
- Scapular Retraction 
Protocol D: Golfer’s / Tennis Elbow
- Self-Stretch: Wrist Extensor Stretch 
- Self-Stretch: Wrist Flexion Stretch 
- LAX Ball Soft Tissue Mobilization 
- Wrist AROM 4-Way (Gravity minimized) 
- Resisted Wrist Extension (Eccentric) 
- Resisted Wrist Flexion (Eccentric) 
Protocol E: Capsular Stretches
- Self-Stretch: Posterior Capsule / Cuff Stretch 
- Self-Stretch: Inferior Capsule Stretch 
- Self-Stretch: Anterior Capsule / External Rotation Stretch 
- Self-Stretch: Posterior Capsule (Horizontal ADD + Flexion)
